The typesetter and journal apologize for an error in the above paper which appeared in 156 (2) 181–186. In Table 1, the correct geometric mean serum lipids (in mmol/l) for women with TSH 1.5–1.9 mU/l are 6.00 for total serum cholesterol, 4.14 for LDL cholesterol, 4.46 for non-HDL cholesterol, 1.42 for HDL cholesterol, and 1.38 for triglycerides.
